The PATA Malaysia Chapter, has won the PATA Most Innovative Chapter Award 2015.


PMC (PATA Malaysia Chapter) is one of the local community organizations of travel industry professionals who join in a co-operative endeavor-within the framework of PATA to develop travel and tourism in Malaysia.

The PATA Innovative Chapter 2015, is an award that demonstrates initiatives like leadership and commitment to community practices in sustainability, technology, connectivity and education.

The award was received by Y.Bhg. Datuk Dr. Ong Hong Peng, Secretary General of Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Malaysia and Y.Bhg. Dato’ Mirza Mohammad Taiyab, Director General of Tourism Malaysia at the recent ITB in Berlin, Germany held from 04 to 08 March 2015.


Flexiroam, as one proud member of PMC, wants to express its sincere congratulations to the Chapter and all the members, who has won this award, and reflect its satisfaction considering this award in recognition of a great job.


The chapter has organized some events during the last year and the entry submission for the award was based on their activities and programs/events undertaken during the year 2014.


Some of these successful events were:

The PMC Tourism Career Fair held in June 2014, with the theme “Today’s talent, Tomorrow’s success”.


The PATA Hub City Forum : Kuala Lumpur held in October 2014, under  the theme AEC 2015 – Where is Tourism Heading? and both, were targeted at contributing value to the tourism and hospitality sectors.


One more time, Flexiroam, wants to manifest its support, enthusiasm and motivation to the chapter and all the members and also looking forward to keep winning this Kind of awards, which is a recognition of hard work and effort of many professionals.
